What can we learn during a 5 days trip in Venezia ?

Part 1

🍇 Italian of course, buying gorgeous food at the Rialto Market.

📚 History for sure ! Do we need a picture ? Well ok... The Doges, the architecture, Casanova, ...

🎨 Art History with the Titien, the Caravage and all the wonderfull ceilings and collections to see

But also theatre with Goldoni, the italian Molière.

🦀 We learned a lot about the biological balance of the lagoon, travelling by boat to Burano.

🚣 We did some political discoveries learning about the fight of the venetian people against giants boats of tourists destroying this fragile natural balance.

🍷 We taste a unique wine from a unique local cep with a golden robe.

💞 Sooooo much left to learn while enjoying travel and the beauty of our outside environnement

Part 2 :

🏯 We were in Venezia during the biennale of architecture. The theme was «How will we live together? ». We loved Spain, with the «clouds» installation, Denmark with the cycle of water, Japan with a live master of wood working in front of us and... last but not least... Great Britain with a very interesting exhibition around public spaces and ancient commons, a good start to talk about the early industrial era.

👒 We met Martina Fantuzzo, hatdesigner and artist who works with wool felt. If you go in Venezia, please don't buy all the «made in china» products... there is soooo much beautifull shops with real venetians artisans...

📚 But the most beautifull shop to go by is Luciano's bookshop. A real master of upcycling, making toys and jewels with old pieces of everything and selling old books. A magician for our children's hearts.
